Founded in 2017, Wecandoo is a startup that offers individuals manual workshops led by craftspeople. The idea? To showcase the expertise of French artisans, bring sometimes-forgotten trades back into the spotlight, and highlight Made in France and the crafts .
Several hundred artisans have answered Wecandoo 's call to offer their services to the curious: cabinetmakers, jewelers, leatherworkers, ceramists, ice-cream makers, chocolatiers, beekeepers, marble makers, blacksmiths... To take part in a workshop, all you have to do is visit the Wecandoo website, search for the workshop you're interested in and select a date. On the day, you'll be able to enjoy a unique experience, and leave with the object you've made following the craftsman's advice and tips!
Here are just a few examples of the more than 1,200 workshops in Paris : Make your own artisanal sausages, mozzarella or table knife, discover welding, create a terrarium or learn about beekeeping. There's plenty to choose from, whether as a gift or for yourself! And even children aren't left out, since Wecandoo has recently set up kids' workshops so that parents and children can spend time together.
