The Château de Versailles, which will host the equestrian events as well as the pentathlon during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, is organizing its artistic events, to which families are invited, in June 2024.

The Château de Versailles is also getting into the Olympic spirit, just a few months ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, where the equestrian and pentathlon events will take place. From February to June 2023, the royal estate invited families and young adults under the age of 25 to take part in its own art-based Olympics. Here, no swimming, fencing, horse-riding, running or shooting, but visual arts, literature, writing, architecture and music, duringintroductory workshops!

In 2024, all these Olympiads are reserved for schoolchildren, but on June 8 and 9, over the course of a weekend, families will be able to discover new events, to celebrate the shared values of sport and art. Compose your own pentathlon and test your talents in five unusual twenty-minute workshops, to choose from among the ten on offer, with your children aged 7 and over!

Choice of workshops

  • an artistic fencing match
  • period dance training
  • a calligraphy race through the works of art
  • a complete baroque mime competition
  • body-building exercises to master the language of Molière
  • an architectural time jump in the form of a diorama
  • an introduction to perspective tactics
  • warm-up for clay modeling
  • a digital sound composition tournament
  • an embroidery 2.0 discovery tour

Bookings open on Friday, May 3, 2024. Don't miss it!
