This summer, Gustaf Westman is staging a pop-up revolution, but not just any pop-up revolution ... Gone are the standard ephemeral boutiques, and here we push open the door of a real Parisian apartment, transformed into a crazy decorating playground by the fashionable Swedish designer. After Berlin and Copenhagen, the 3rd arrondissement will host this unique experience from June 28 to 29, 2025, just a stone's throw from the Musée des Arts et Métiers.
In partnership with Kindred, the worldwide home exchange collective, Gustaf invests in inhabited homes to deposit his creations as one would deposit a precious secret. No aseptic showcase, but an interior "like a friend's home" - a friend a little perched on the edge of sculptural design, the ultimate fan of his iconic pieces: Chunky Up, Chunky Plate, Spiral Stand... and never-before-seen surprises, postcards and exclusive tour souvenirs to boot.
This pop-up residency plays the offbeat card. Her generously curved mirrors and sculptural handmade objects invite themselves into interiors where everyday life blends with art, blurring the boundaries between boutique, installation and living room.
