The Léo Lagrange free outdoor pool for Summer 2026 in Paris's 12th arrondissement

What if we treated ourselves to a free pool? It’s possible, right in Paris itself! Among the capital’s free perks, the Léo Lagrange outdoor pool brings joy to Parisians in summer, and this summer of 2026 is no exception. Between the shaded terraces, the spray-and-water parks, the beautiful open-air pools in Paris and, notably, the free ones in Île-de-France, you gain a bit of vitality to face the sweltering heat.

And over the past several summers, the city has set up free public pools for everyone. While the iconic bassin de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement is well known, the Centre Sportif Léo Lagrange in the 12e arrondissement also has its own basin, with water treated to pool standards!

Open from 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM Monday to Friday, Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM, and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, July 4 to August 30, 2026, this well-supervised pool is open to everyone, but children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Launched in 2019, this 150m2 removable pool, 90 cm deep, is especially child-friendly. The City Hall of the 12th arrondissement of the capital notes that this pool “was designed for family and playful use.” In partnership with the City’s sports sector and local associations, the 12th arrondissement City Hall is rolling out a program of aquatic and land activities (badminton, table tennis, roller skating and tennis), providing plenty of good times in the 12th this summer!

For everyone's comfort, there are changing rooms, showers and a nearby solarium for sunbathing on deckchairs.
