We're off to theHotel Bowmann to discover the various treatments offered by the in-house spa, located in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, between the Champs-Élysées and Gare Saint-Lazare. A spa by Terraké, offering unrivalled relaxation in one of the emblems of 21st-century Paris, embodying the alliance between tradition and innovation.

The wellness area includes a heated swimming pool, Turkish hammam, sauna, herbal tea room, gym and Jacuzzi, as well as massage areas for a relaxing break from the stress of the capital. A total of four treatment worlds, inspired by the birth of the World, offer visitors a complete experience of the benefits of Nature.

Terraké has created three signature treatments:

• Swedish massage

Quite simply, it's a deep, energetic massage that provides intense muscle relaxation. Ideal for total relaxation.

• Prenatal massage

This massage for pregnant women is a true moment of well-being. It relaxes pregnancy-related muscular tension. Prenatal care is a real moment of sharing and connection between mother and baby.

• Sensory ritual

The Terraké signature treatment, offering a sensory journey that plunges you into a bubble of well-being and serenity, awakening your senses for a moment of intense release. The treatment begins with a hammam to relieve tension and prepare the skin for a genuine radiance boost, followed by a toning scrub to deeply detoxify the skin, and an affusion shower combining light therapy for a soothing, relaxing and serene moment. To complete the treatment, we offer a full-body massage with warm oil to enhance relaxation. This signature treatment is ideal for revitalizing vital energy.

We were able to try out one of the spa's treatments, a body treatment to be precise: it appeals to all five senses, with a massage, intoxicating scents from candles designed for the treatment, a pastel-colored boudoir décor, tea also designed for the treatment, and relaxing music to soothe your ears. The spa's special feature? An exfoliating brush is used before each body massage to remove impurities from the skin.

A particularly relaxing treatment, with variable pressure depending on points and tensions. We particularly appreciate the care given to the whole body, including hands and head. We also appreciate the choice between oil and balm (we chose the balm), the texture changing dramatically. As for tea, we were treated to a mandarin and lavender tea. A truly emotional and multi-sensorial experience, through unique treatment protocols, that we highly recommend.
