Last year, the first half of the season was very promising, but from January onwards, the defeats followed and the players lost the Champions League and the French Cup in quick succession. After another record-breaking championship in the pocket, Paris-Saint-Germain changed coach once again, welcoming Luis Enrique. Many players left for other horizons, and a number of recruits showed promise after this impressive mercato.
The 2023-2024 season appeared to be a year of transition, but has fans hoping for the best, with several trophies still on the way at the end of April! Still top of the standings, PSG will be champions in a few games' time, far ahead of the pack! But we still have to win the Coupe de France against Lyon to win it again, and try to beat Dortmund in the Champions League semi-finals, to hope for another final, after beating Barcelona in style!
