Clarissa, a novelist whose muse has run dry, joins an artist residency equipped with cutting-edge technology. There she first finds support from Dalloway, a virtual assistant who accompanies her as she writes her new book. But this digital presence gradually becomes more intrusive, until it sparks in Clarissa a feeling of being watched and of doubt.
Adapted from Tatiana de Rosnay’s novel The Flowers of Shadow, Dalloway continues Yann Gozlan’s exploration of paranoid thrillers, following Boîte noire and Visions. The film was selected out of competition for the Midnight Session at the Cannes Film Festival 2025.
