It's a tiny concept set up on a street corner: the new Bloom Studio, a place to take a break, take time for yourself and stop your hectic routine for a few minutes.
On one side, you have the studio's wellness boutique, with products from brands handpicked for their commitment to eco-responsibility and their French or European origins: candles, oils, home fragrances, incense... "There's everything you need to recreate a meditation experience at home," explains Candice, one of the partners who created the Studio.
Bloom is the place to re-connect around meditation, to practice it and get in touch with the people around you. At each session, Eugénie, creator of the place and Candice's partner, suggests a theme around which to anchor oneself. Gratitude, loving-kindness... This meditation enthusiast discovered the practice "because" of her former profession: a journalist by profession, she covered many traumatic events and suffered a great deal of stress, to which only meditation presented itself as a solution. "It's often in a moment of suffering that we discover mediation", she explains, before launching the session and guiding the participants on the floor, on the cushions provided. The Bloom Studio has been designed above all as a cocoon, a warm, welcoming place to take a break from our fast-paced Parisian lives.
For some time now, Manon has also been part of the Bloom Studio adventure, and the three of them form an efficient trio, "a bit like the 3 funny ladies", who welcome you with a positivity and energy that feels good. The Bloom studio not only offersmeditation sessions, but also a wide range of yoga classes, sound relaxation and treatments. Although this studio is a "concentrated" version of the other Bloom studio in Etienne Marcel, you'll find all the essentials in several rooms. First, there's the room dedicated to meditation or yoga, with cushions, floor mats and Himalayan salt lamps to light the way. Then there's the salt room, where you can come to relax and be massaged.
A 30-minute meditation class costs €19, while a one-hour class costs €28. If you take packs of several classes, rates are degressive. Alternatively, you can take a break in the salt chamber to recharge your positive energies. Count €10 for 15 minutes in the room, €15 for 30 minutes and €20 for an hour. If you'd like to try out the concept without committing yourself too much, the Bloom offers a discovery package for €45, including 3 studio classes to be used over the course of a month.
