Paris FC will be joining Paris-Saint-Germain next season! The club, which is bidding to move up to Ligue 1, will abandon its Charléty stadium and move to Jean Bouin, until 2029.

Could Paris-Saint-Germain and Paris FC be neighbors next season? According to L'Équipe, this was highly likely, as the Parisian club had already begun negotiations with Stade Français, the resident rugby club at Stade Jean Bouin. Since its takeover by the Arnault family, the Parisian minnow has been slowly making its way up the ladder, in the hope of securing a place in Ligue 1, which is currently well underway as the club is second in Ligue 2.

While PSG is looking for another stadium in the Ile-de-France region, unable to buy the Parc des Princes, it has now been decided that Paris FC will leave the Stade Charléty in the south of the capital for the stadium in the 16th arrondissement, also with around 20,000 seats, which it is currently struggling to fill all year round. With the arrival of a soccer club, a few changes and a well-honed organization will obviously be needed, so that the round ball and the oval can mix without a hitch.

According to L'Equipe, the two parties have reached agreement on a rather high rent, with Stade Français losing a certain number of days and events at the pitch, especially as the turf will be replaced by grass. The pink and blue of Stade Français will also have to harmonize with the dark blue of Paris FC, to satisfy both teams.

And let's not forget the Ligue 1 calendar, because if Paris FC changes division, two matches cannot take place at the same time for neighboring clubs, due to the risk of public disorder. The club would therefore move from the start of the 2025-2026 season and at least until 2029.
