A newcomer to the 16th arrondissement, Define Studio joins the new Refomer Pilates gyms opening in the capital, offering a gentler form of Pilates that targets deep muscles. A variation of Pilate, practiced with a machine called a reformer, Pilate Reformer lets you build muscle while relaxing.

If you like to combine sport with well-being, Define Studio is the place for you. As well as offering Pilates Reformer sessions, the room has been designed and decorated to make you feel at home, so you can relax and unwind after your session.

Before or after your session, Define Studio offers you the chance to write a note in an envelope that you'll open in a year's time, and which they keep preciously in their letter cabinets. In the changing rooms, a collaborative library is also available so that you can enjoy a moment of reading for a much-needed return to calm. You can also pick up positive notes written by the team.

The session at Define Studio lasts 50 minutes, and although the gym works with several trainers, we had an attentive and dynamic coach, who allows you to strengthen your muscles gently without injuring yourself. Nevertheless, a single class costs €50, which is a substantial budget for a Pilates Reformer gym, but you can reduce this unit price by taking out a subscription or a pack (up to €30 for a single class). The gym also offers private classes at €100 each.
