From June 7 to 9, 2025, the Franco-Chinese cultural centerLes Temps du Corpsorganizes the first edition of the Festival du Souffle, to pay tribute to the thought of François Cheng, a sage and poet who evokes the arts of movement and breath from the Chinese tradition, in the heart of a space filled with nature,the Moulin de la Fleur d'Or, near Fontainebleau. For three days, take advantage of conferences,exhibitions, dance performances andworkshops, for a peaceful weekend.
Poets, academics, artists and practitioners come together around the poetic and philosophical work of François Cheng, to give visitors the experience of breath, through practice as well as cultural and artistic activities.
Calligraphies by François Cheng will be on display, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the visual and spiritual universe of his work.
Tea ritual
Accompanied by poems by François Cheng, this ritual invites you to a unique sensory and poetic experience.
Led by Master Ke Wen and the Temps du Corps team, these practice sessions will take you on a poetic and spiritual journey, guided by the writings of François Cheng. According to Taoism, all practices, whether calligraphy, painting, meditation or Chinese medicine, are ways of connecting with the Breath that animates the world.
