Badminton World Championships: free fan zone and entertainment at the Westfield Forum des Halles

From August 25 to 31, 2025, the capital will welcome the world's best badminton players to the Adidas Arena for the 29th World Badminton Championships. But the north of the capital won't be the only place to come and cheer them on, as the Westfield Forum des Halles is setting up an XXL fan zone and offering free events based around the discipline, if you haven't got a place!

Initiations with qualified instructors, live broadcasts of the finals and a meeting with the French badminton team for a signing session and demonstration show, await you to rediscover this sport that was so popular during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The fastest racket sport in the world, with shuttlecocks capable of speeds of over 500 km/hour, badminton is growing fast!

The program

Monday 25, Tuesday 26, Wednesday 27 and Sunday 31 August 2025:

• 10am to 1pm: educational and fun activities to discover badminton
• 1pm to 5pm: matches and challenges with commentary in a festive and dynamic atmosphere
• 5pm to 6:30pm: badminton demonstrations with top-level players

Sunday, August 31, 2025:

• Fan Zone from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., broadcasting the Badminton World Championship finals from 1 p.m.
• Signing session from 10:30 am to 11:30 am
• Demonstration show from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
