Ten years after the attacks of November 13, 2015, the French Association of Victims of Terrorism (AfVT) is organizing a commemorative, sporting and civic event: 13-UNIS, on Sunday, November 9, 2025. To pay tribute to the victims, the race will cross the places affected by the attacks in a Freedom Run or Equality Walk, which will gather at the Fraternity Village, located on the forecourt of Paris City Hall.
This project, led by victims, is aimed at all those wishing to combine sport and support for the victims, with a choice of a15-kilometer run starting from the Stade de France at 9:30 am, or a7-kilometer walk starting from the Place de la République at 2 pm. As for the village, access is free all day long, and you can attend tributes and testimonies, in the midst of association stands.
According to the association, this sporting event came about during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games because"sport embodies what victims of terrorism are looking for: respect, solidarity, perseverance, rebuilding". In addition, alongside the race, six locations emblematic of the attacks will become living spaces of remembrance, with participatory art installations and classical music.
