In November 2025, the City of Paris is organizing several events "to bring people together" in memory of the victims of the November 13 attacks and to ensure that they are never forgotten. Charity races and several exhibitions are planned in the capital. An official ceremony will also take place at the memorial garden located on Place Saint-Gervais, in the center of Paris. Thierry Reboul, director of ceremonies for the Paris 2024 Games, has been commissioned to design and stage this commemorative ceremony, whileVictor Le Masne, the composer of the Olympic anthem, will unveil a requiem for the occasion.
To allow everyone to follow the ceremony, giant screens will be set up on Place de la République and will broadcast the event live on Thursday, November 13, 2025, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., according to the City of Paris.
From November 8 to 16, 2025, Place de la République will also host a photo exhibition featuring a selection of images taken by photographers from the City of Paris in the days following the attacks. During this period, Parisians will also be invited to come and place a candle, a flower, or a note at the foot of the statue of the Republic "to collectively pay tribute to the victims, survivors, their families, and all the heroes who were there for them on that fateful night," said the 10th arrondissement town hall.
