10 years since the attacks of November 13: the program of commemorative events in Paris

To mark the 10th anniversary of the November 13 attacks, the City of Paris is organizing a series of commemorative events from Friday, November 7 to Sunday, November 16, 2025. Conferences and meetings at the Théâtre de la Concorde, a tribute ceremony to be followed live from Place de la République, exhibitions, testimonials... discover the program.

France is preparing to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the attacks of November 13, 2015. To mark the occasion, a ceremony is planned for Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Place Saint-Gervais in the 4th arrondissement of the capital.

This year marks the sad 10th anniversary of the attacks of November 13, 2015. Tribute on Place de la République

The City of Paris invites Parisians to come and lay a candle or a flower at the foot of the statue of the Republic on November 13, 2025. The tribute ceremony will also be broadcast live from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on a giant screen set up for the occasion on Place de la République.

Reflection on the attacks at the Théâtre de la Concorde

Until November 8, the Théâtre de la Concorde is hosting a series of conferences and meetings dedicated to the attacks. Among the highlights not to be missed? A show based on "La Vie de château, mon enfance à Versailles" (Life in a castle, my childhood in Versailles) by Clémence Madeleine-Perdrillat and Nathaniel H'Limi. Just before the show, join the Fondation Jean Jaurès and political scientist Hugo Micheron for a discussion and debate. The full program is available on the Théâtre de la Concorde website.

Exhibitions and testimonials

" Paris, November 13, 2015. From one day to the next... ", an exhibition by the association 13onze15 Fraternité et vérité, to be discovered on the facades of the Napoleon barracks (rue de Rivoli, rue de Lobau, place Baudoyer, and place Saint-Gervais). Forty-two French and international artists who were in Paris on the day of the attacks were invited to search their archives for a photograph they had taken on November 13, 2015, and to select one of their shots as a " response to the attacks."
" Facing terrorism, a citizen's memory," on display on the railings ofthe Hôtel de Ville (rue de Rivoli). The exhibition presents for the first time part of the future permanent collections of the Terrorism Memorial Museum through donations from relatives of victims and institutions involved in the fight against terrorism.
" November 13, 2015, Paris remembers ": an exhibition on display on the steps of City Hall and on Place de la République, bringing together photographs taken by the city's photographers in the days following November 13.

Opening of the Paris Archives

The Archives of Paris, in the 19th arrondissement, are opening their doors and presenting a unique exhibition entitled " Je suis Paris " (I am Paris) from November 12. This is an opportunity to honor the spirit of the people of Paris.

"Les Consolantes" by Pauline Susini at the theater

In "Les Consolantes," author and director Pauline Susini explores forms of consolation and intimate and collective reconstruction ten years after the attacks. The show can be seen on Saturday, November 8, at 7 p.m. at the Théâtre de la Concorde (8th arrondissement), on Wednesday, November 12, at 5 p.m. in the reception hall of the 11th arrondissement town hall, and on Thursday, November 20, and Friday, November 21, at the Grand Parquet (18th arrondissement).

Memorial tour at the Carnavalet Museum

Until December 7, the Carnavalet Museum is presenting a selection of anonymous tributes collected at the sites of the attacks as part of its collections tour. Urban artworks created in connection with the tragic events are also on display. More information is available on the museum's website.

Three solidarity events

Three solidarity events await you on Sunday, November 9, 2025: the Freedom Run (15 km starting from the Stade de France at 9:30 a.m.), the Equality Walk (7 km starting from Place de la République at 2 p.m.), and the Village of Fraternity (arriving at the City Hall forecourt throughout the day).

A work in tribute to the victims

The City of Paris has announced that a mural in tribute to the victims will be unveiled during the week of November 13. Created by artist Léa Belooussovitch, this fresco will be on display at 19 Rue Léon-Frot (11th arrondissement).

The Eiffel Tower lit up in blue, white, and red

The Eiffel Tower will be lit up in the colors of the French flag on Wednesday, November 12, and Thursday, November 13, 2025, ten years after the attacks that struck Paris. This blue, white, and red illumination pays tribute to the 130 victims of November 13, 2015, and their loved ones.
