The 2026 Colline Night Trail takes place on Friday, November 20, from 6:30 p.m., on the Colline d’Élancourt in the Yvelines. The idea is to complete a 1.6 km loop with 65 meters of elevation gain as many times as possible, by headlamp.
Two durations are available: 2 hours, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and 6 hours, from 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21. The 2-hour race can be run solo or in pairs; the 6-hour race can be run solo or in teams of two to four. In the relay, only one team member runs at a time.
Participation is free, but the official form now offers waitlist registration. The organizers say that the first complete applications will be given priority and contacted if a team that has already registered cancels. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a race bib.
The race is open to runners aged 16 and over, with parental consent required for minors. Adults must provide a valid FFA Athlé Compétition, Entreprise or Running licence, or a valid Pass Prévention Santé issued no more than one year ago. Minors must provide the specific documents set out in the race rules. A headlamp is mandatory throughout the race. Access and parking are via rue Alain-Colas in Élancourt.
Race bibs can be collected in person on Thursday, November 19, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Friday, November 20, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., upon presentation of ID and proof of registration. For team entries, the captain provides teammates’ details on the form.
