About 35 kilometers south of Paris lies one of Île-de-France's oldest treetop adventure parks. A forest of century-old oaks spread across no less than 12 hectares offers a stunning setting for sport and leisure. Sainte Assise Aventure is equipped with 10 treetop courses, totaling 183 elements, and will reopen on March 1, 2026!
Saint Assise Aventures is the treetop adventure course set up just outside Melun, in the hamlet of Seine-Port, in Seine-et-Marne. For a day that’s as playful as it is sporty in the great outdoors, here’s the perfect idea for family or friends to share a moment packed with thrills and climbs.
Three green courses are equipped with continuous lifelines for total safety: children cannot detach from start to finish. The blue, red and black courses offer superb treetop outings. Sainte Assise Aventure features the largest zip lines in Île-de-France and three Tarzan swings among the most impressive.
Don’t leave the park without trying the giant zip line: you launch from a platform 25 meters above the ground for a vertigo-inducing descent that lasts over 30 seconds at 60 km/h! Unforgettable. The bravest can challenge the adrenaline black course, the highest and toughest in Île-de-France. Whether you’re with family or friends, a beginner or a thrill-seeker, everyone enjoys a great time at Sainte Assise Aventure.
11 treetop courses are on offer for you:
- Parcours pitchoun : open to children aged 2 to 6. Parents can follow from the ground
- Parcours vert "découvre" : accessible from a height of 1 m, the “green discovery” stations are designed to help kids progress autonomously between 1 and 2 m off the ground. The youngest will still need their parents for the zipline anchors. Monkey bridges, walkways, a mini Tarzan course, and ziplines—this adventure path is also welcoming to adults who want to ease into height-based challenges.
- Parcours vert "famille" : a transitional route between discovery and hiking, the family course starts at ground level and climbs gradually up to 6 m. This varied parcours already offers a wonderful treetop stroll. The course layout lets those at the front loop back to collect latecomers.
- Parcours vert "ludo" : the Ludo course expands the green lineup with innovative, fun stations for maximum enjoyment. A must-try!
- Parcours vert "tyrolienne" : for zipline enthusiasts, this route requires no major physical effort—just fun, with five ziplines across 10 stations. To reach the start, savvy guests can take the independent “Dogon” zipline near the reception (access limited to guests wearing harnesses with standard carabiners).
- Parcours "cascade de tyrolienne" : after a 15 m climbing wall, you dive into a sequence of ziplines exceeding 100 m that carry you out of the park. Finish with a quick jump for an exhilarating sensation.
- Parcours bleu "évasion" : accessible from age 8 and 1.30 m tall, this course features walkways and large ziplines.
- Parcours bleu "randonnée" : the Hiking Blue course is a true forest voyage. You’ll leave the ground via a vertical ladder to reach the treetops. Very varied, but not technically difficult, it lets you soak in the atmosphere 5 to 15 meters above the ferns. After 25 stations, a colossal 120 m zipline brings you back to earth, packed with sensations.
- Parcours "escalade" : two climbing walls, a mono-cycle, zipline-guiding… and gigantic ziplines of 230 and 260 m!
- Parcours rouge "sportif" : the Red Sports course revisits the best parts of the Hiking route but with stronger physical demands. It winds through the grandest trees, rising quickly to a line of challenges between 8 and 17 meters high. Some stations will require strength and precision well above ground. Tarzan jumps add a splash of adrenaline to a brew of emotions that won’t leave anyone indifferent.
- Parcours noir "adrénaline" : the Adrenaline course is not for everyone. To tackle it, you’ll need peak fitness. In a vertigo-inducing setting, the tough stations come one after another with no break. Those who reach the end are rewarded with a gigantic 260 m zipline that hits nearly 60 km/h. In short: for those with big hearts and strong arms. If you’d like the thrill of the giant zipline without tackling the Black course, don’t worry—an independent ladder from the ground can take you to the starting platform 23 meters high. Guaranteed adrenaline, not to be missed!
Sainte Assise Aventure also offers a laserball activity, an educational forest trail, a treasure hunt, a pendulum swing, and a supervised tree-climbing activity. So, shall we go?
