The Convergence is back in Paris! This festive event is not a race, but a gathering of cyclists in processions that grows in size along the route of its participants. The aim? To promote cycling as a means of transport, reaching the heart of Paris and finishing with a final parade on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
This free event , open to all, invites all cycling enthusiasts, young and old, to take part. There's no need to register in advance, just turn up at the meeting point nearest you, and there are over 100 departures organized in Paris and the Ile-de-France region to cycle to the capital. Volunteers will then guide you to the meeting point onAvenue de Saxe, in the 7th arrondissement, at 12 noon.
Here you'll find the Convergence village and the lawns of Breteuil for a picnic. The procession will set off again at around 2:30 p.m. for the Paris Parade through the streets of the capital. For the return journey, bike departures will be organized, and the good news is that you can take public transport, as bikes are allowed on Transiliens trains this Sunday, free of charge! Grab your bike (or rent a Vélib'), a picnic and a colorful outfit to match the route you're taking (red, blue, pink, orange, purple and green) and off you go!
