On Friday, February 13, 2026, the Seine Musicale hosted the 41st edition of the Victoires de la Musique. A ceremony presided over by Mika and broadcast live from the Hauts-de-Seine, with Helena Noguerra and Cyril Féraud as hosts.
As every year, the ceremony was highlighted by several live performances, including that of Mika, who opened the event with a show-stopping act. The ceremony's honorary president also took the stage to perform his hits “Relax” and “Grace Kelly”. There were also memorable moments with Santa, who delivered a heartfelt rendition of “Paradis”, Pierre Garnier performing “Pas une larme”, and the flamboyant Philippe Katerine bringing his eccentric charm to the stage.
Several tributes were paid on Friday evening, including one to Nana Mouskouri, who was on stage to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award. For the occasion, Line Renaud and Serge Lama recorded heartfelt messages for her, while Isabelle Boulay performed a live rendition of L'amour en héritage. Meanwhile, Vincent Dedienne and Valérie Lemercier shared a memorable performance of Quand on s'aime.
Meanwhile, Indochine received a special award for their record-breaking "Arena Tour." The French rock band took the opportunity to perform several of their hits during a recorded show, even as they were performing live in Brussels the same evening. The band also paid tribute to the late Brigitte Bardot and Nicole Croisille, both of whom passed away in 2025.
On the nominations front, some contenders were already seen as frontrunners, such as Theodora, who received five nominations, and Helena, with four nods to her name.
