Notice to all Daft Punk fans! This Thursday, May 11, 2023, the Centre Pompidou in Paris will unveil a preview of an unreleased track from the mythical French electro duo, separated since 2021. We tell you more about this exclusive event!

The Centre Pompidou creates the event this week! On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the release of"Random Access Memories" and the reissue of this excellent Daft Punk opus, the Parisian museum is offering an exclusive listening session to the numerous fans of the helmeted duo.

This Thursday, May 11, 2023, starting at 6:30 pm, the Centre Pompidou will unveil an unreleased track by Daft Punk. Entitled " Infinity Repeating ", this track is a demo from 2013, featuring the famous American artist Julian Casablancas, singer of the Strokes, and his side project The Voidz.

This musical event at the Centre Pompidou is all the more exclusive as this unreleased track will be presented one day before its public release, i.e. " in world premiere "! On Friday, May 12, 2023, Daft Punk, separated since 2021, will release a reissue of its album"Random access memories" on the occasion of its 10th anniversary.

Released in 2013, this opus is full of musical nuggets, including the tracks"Get Lucky","Instant Crush" or"Lose Yourself To Dance". To celebrate this event, a special edition of the album, including 35 minutes of unreleased music (demos and studio takes), will be released. To date, two unreleased tracks have already been unveiled, namely " The writing of Fragments of time " and " GLBTM ".

On May 11, 2023, the Centre Pompidou will have the honor and privilege to unveil " Infinity repeating ", a third unpublished title.

The Centre Pompidou will offer " three experiences of discovery " of the video clip of this unreleased piece, starting with an " ultra high-fidelity listening experience ", in collaboration with Ircam in Galerie 3. The duration of the video-clip is "4 minutes 15". Otherwise prefer the cinematic experience in Cinema 1 or the collective experience in the Forum.

Note that these three listening experiences will be"free and open access within the limits of available seats". On its social networks, the Centre Pompidou also announces that a " commented listening of the album in its entirety on the ultra high-fidelity system " will be offered to the public on July 9, 2023 in Galerie 3.

As France Info reminds us, the Centre Pompidou is a place that Daft Punk is particularly fond of, since it was here that the helmeted duo discovered electro music during a rave party in 1992.
