Thrash metal fans have a date with Paris this autumn! On Friday, November 29, 2024, the Zénith de la Villette venue opens its doors to three of the genre's biggest names: Anthrax and Kreator, with Testament as a special co-headlining guest.
This autumn, metal fans are in for a treat, thanks to a triple bill that's sure to attract a huge following. So, a word of advice: don't miss the opening of the ticket office, starting with the Gérard Drouot Productions pre-sale on Thursday January 25, 2024 at 10am, followed by the general on-sale on Friday January 26 at 11am.
Do we really need an introduction? For 43 years now, the Americans ofAnthrax have been making the world go nuts. Joey Belladonna, Scott Ian, Frank Bello and the rest are known as part of the " Big Four of Thrash ", alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. A benchmark in the field, Anthrax continue to thrill the crowds to this day, while a new opus has been a long time coming since the release of"For All Kings" in 2016.
For their part, Germany's Kreator are hardly any younger, having been formed in 1982. With 15 albums to their credit, Kreator have been scouring European concert halls for many years now, creating a few raging circle pits. We're sure you'll be in for a real treat at the Zénith de la Villette on November 29.
Finally, Anthrax and Kreator have decided to invite a special guest for this co-headliner: Testament. This Californian thrash metal band, formed in 1983 and led by Chuck Billy, will also be taking us back in time by playing a number of their legendary songs, as well as more recent releases.
