On Thursday, September 19, 2024, theAccor Arena in Paris opened its doors to a host of national and international talent! Indochine, Youssou N'Dour, Louise Attaque, Tryo, Shaka Ponk, Imagination, Vianney, Santa and Jean-Louis Aubert and Zaz were on the bill for this major concert event,"Taratata celebrates 40 years of Bercy".
Last autumn, the legendary Paris venue in the 12th arrondissement celebrated its 40th anniversary. For four decades now, Bercy has been thrilling the hearts of many fans, having welcomed such prestigious artists as Johnny Hallyday, Mylène Farmer, Madonna, David Bowie, Metallica, Björk and Bruce Springsteen. Inaugurated on February 3, 1984, the venue underwent a facelift in 2015, before finally being renamed theAccor Arena de Paris.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the venue opened its doors to Taratata for an event concert! The program? Three hours of non-stop music, featuring some 70 artists and 50 tracks. During the evening, audiences were treated to " unexpected duets, unique artistic encounters, must-see covers and never-before-seen performances ", as detailed in a press release. The concert celebrated " four decades of exceptional musical and sporting moments, deeply rooted in our collective memory ".
A host of national and international artists took to the stage, including David Hallyday and Santa covering Johnny Hallyday's"L'Envie", Louise Attaque performing their hit"J't'emmène au vent", and Tryo singing their song"Désolé pour hier soir".
A host of other artists and groups also took part, including Shaka Ponk, the British trio Imagination performing their hit"Just an Illusion", Jean-Louis Aubert, Zaz, Youssou N'Dour, Vianney,Patrick Bruel, Pascal Obispo, Zazie (the show's godmother), not forgetting Indochine, who performed several songs during the evening presented by Nagui. After its first television broadcast on October 25, France 2 is rebroadcasting this concert event in prime time on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
They were surrounded by some twenty musicians and backing singers on stage, offering"original duets, explosive trios, revisited medleys, impromptu encounters and surprise collaborations"!
In addition to the presence of these numerous artists on stage, this special evening"Taratata celebrates 40 years of Bercy" also welcomed a number of personalities from the world of entertainment and sport. Basketball player Sarah Michel Boury, unmissable comedian Florence Foresti, handball player Nikola Karabatic, as well as the famous Yannick Noah, Alain Prost, Teddy Riner andJo Wilfried Tsonga paid tribute to the many events they had experienced in this legendary Parisian venue.
All proceeds from the evening were donated to the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale, supporting the fight against cancer.
