Playstation The Concert: our verdict on the musical show at the Accor Arena

On April 30, 2025, PlayStation organized a concert at the Accor Arena, dedicated to the music of its flagship games, to the rhythm of your favorite OSTs. We were there, and tell you all about it!

What makes a good video game? First and foremost, it's a solid story, but also well thought-out gameplay, pleasing graphics... And a strong, memorable soundtrack! Some game soundtracks have become iconic and have made their license famous.

Sony decided to put the spotlight on some of this essential music, with a concert never seen before in France. On April 30, 2025, fans of video games and original music were invited to theAccor Arena in Paris for an exceptional musical show.

Playstation: the concert gaveus the chance to rediscover some of Sony's best-loved recent hits. The evening featured licenses such as God of War, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Forbidden West, as well as Uncharted, Astro Bot, Journey, Bloodhorne and Helldivers II.

For this occasion, the pieces have been slightly rewritten for performance on stage, and in front of a large audience. The composers of these soundtracks contributed to these arrangements, designed for the 15 classical and contemporary virtuosos who will perform the music of the games at the Accor Arena.

Our review of PlayStation The Concert:

A concert we were able to attend. And what we can say is that we'll remember this concert for a long time to come! In terms of music, PlayStation's best work in video game music was on display, with softs as emblematic in their history as in the music they feature. Uncharted, Horizon, Helldivers II, The Last of Us, God of War, Spider-Man... A real emotional roller coaster, from start to finish.

The staging is also faultless, with a system of curtains/canopies that rise and fall, allowing images to be projected and giving the illusion of 3D. It's clever and works very well, enhancing not only immersion but also the emotion of the moment.

In short, a grandiose celebration of what PlayStation does best... And you had to be there to see it! In the hope of seeing the concert in Paris again... who knows. In any case, we loved it!

To complete the sound experience, LED projections and visuals bring the music to life, creating a strong, captivating atmosphere for the audience.
