AC/DC at the Stade de France: how to prepare for your visit by public transport

AC/DC will be setting the legendary Stade de France alight on Saturday August 9 and Wednesday August 13 2025 for their "Power Up Tour". The legendary band will be playing some of their most famous hard rock songs. Are you one of the lucky holders of the precious ticket? Are you planning to reach the Seine-Saint-Denis stadium by public transport? If so, here are a few practical tips to help you avoid any queues around the stadium and get as close as possible to your front door.

Back in Black ", " Thunderstruck ", " Highway to Hell " and " Hells Bells "... All these powerful songs by AC/DC are set to resound at the Stade de France on Saturday August 9 and Wednesday August 13, 2025. The world-famous hard rock band will be coming to the gates of Paris this summer for two concerts that are sure to have fans in a frenzy.

The band's many admirers, holders of the precious sesame, are therefore in the starting-blocks, impatient to see Angus Young, Brian Johnson and the others live in Paris on August 9 and 13, just one year after the huge show at the Hippodrome Paris-Longchamp.

But before the AC/DC hits can be heard, the Stade de France has to be reached. Given the number of people expected to be in the vicinity of the stadium on August 9 and 13, this will be no easy task. As the RATP reminds us, " the Stade de France can be reached by various forms of public transport ", including RER lines B and D, metro lines 12, 13 and 14, Transilienline H and tramway T8.

So if you're planning to come by public transport, here are a few practical tips to help you avoid any queues around the stadium and get as close as possible to your entrance gate. Remember that itineraries vary according to the stadium entrance indicated on your ticket.

Here are the public transport options you need to prioritize to get to and from the Stade de France, depending on your access gate.

How to get to the Stade de France

  • Access to gates A, B, C, D, E, G and H (east of the stadium): take RER B and get off at " La Plaine - Stade de France " station, or take metro line 12, direction " Mairie d'Aubervilliers ", and get off at " Front populaire " station. It's a 10-minute walk from the RER B station and a 25-minute walk from metro line 12.

  • Access to gates J, K, L, N, R, S, T and U (north of the stadium): take metro line 13 towards " Saint-Denis Université " and get off at " Saint-Denis - Porte de Paris " station. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to the gates of the stadium. Alternatively, take tramway T8 and get off at the same stop, " Saint-Denis - Porte de Paris ". From there, however, it's a 20-minute walk.

  • Access to gates T, U, X, Y and Z (south-west of the Stadium): take RER line D and get off at the " Stade de France - Saint-Denis " station, then allow around 15 minutes on foot from the station to the Stadium gates. Alternatively, take metro line 14 and get off at " Saint-Denis - Pleyel " station. From there, it's a 25-minute walk.


To leave the Stade and join Paris

  • From gates A, B, C, D, E, G, H, X, Y and Z (east of the Stadium): take RER line B or metro line 12.
  • From gates J, K, L, N, R, S, T and U (north of the Stadium): take metro line 13, direction " Châtillon Montrouge ".
  • From gates T, U, X, Y and Z (south-west of the Stadium): take RER line D, direction " Melun / Malesherbes ".

In particular, RATP advises users to take metro line 12 to get to the Stade de France, a route that is generally less busy.
