For its 20th edition, the event Concerts & Jeux d'Eau at the Domaine de Saint-Cloud returns on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Hauts-de-Seine. This free festival organized by the Centre des monuments nationaux offers a musical stroll through the small park, between open-air concerts and water-themed animations, from 2pm to 6pm. A wonderful opportunity to drift along to world music in one of the most beautiful gardens of Île-de-France.
Thanks to Concerts et jeux d'eau, the Centre des monuments nationaux echoes the history of this park steeped in memory. When Monsieur, brother of King Louis XIV, chose the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud as his princely residence, he had a château built there (now lost), and entrusted the garden design to André Le Nôtre. The idea was to make it a festive venue that blends music with the pleasures of water. The lines laid out by Le Nôtre invite us to wander the estate’s 460 hectares, as cascades, jets and basins come to life for visitors.
This year, the program is steered by artistic director Françoise Degeorges, a producer at Radio France, and broadens its reach to world music. The violinist and viola d'amour player Jasser Haj Youssef, a rising figure among Arab musicians who has worked with Barbara Hendricks and Youssou N'Dour, will perform alongside Yahya Hussein Abdallah, a singer of sacred chants from Tanzania, heir to a tradition that blends Arab maqam and Sufi poetry. Their meeting promises a nuanced dialogue between the Orient and East Africa, supported by the Aga Khan Foundation.
The ZIMAWE trio meanwhile carries the audience to the heart of Manding traditions: Bakary Diarra on the kora and balafon, Souleymane Dembelé on percussion, and Malian singer Nana Coulibaly weaving a vibrant sound that blends Bambara rhythms with socially conscious lyrics. Note that Bakary Diarra has lived for several years in Saint-Denis, proof that these traditional musics are taking root in Île-de-France.
Argentine sisters Las Hermanas Caronni bring a touch of South American poetry: clarinet, cello and feminine voices for compositions that speak as much of wind as of water, straddling Buenos Aires and Europe. The duo Justin Adams and Mauro Durante delves into a meeting of desert blues and Mediterranean trance, weaving Tuareg influences with the pizzica salentina of Puglia, for a feverish, magnetic set. Finally, Jean-Marc Reyno & Friends closes Sunday with a gospel concert steeped in soul, pop and Caribbean rhythms, backed by five backing vocalists.
As you wander, the water games pace the strolls. This exceptional hydraulic network, inspired by the know-how of 17th-century Florentine fountain masters, runs on gravity alone and blasts water up to 30 meters high in a mighty jet, before it joins the frothing of the grand cascade. Note that the latter is currently undergoing a four-year restoration and will not be filled for this 2026 edition.
Aside from the concerts, an art installation titled Je me souviens, created by artist Laurent Pernot and specially conceived for the Domaine, invites visitors to reflect on time and memory through a sculpture of letters carved in natural stone. And for art-history enthusiasts, a selection of reproduced paintings traces a century of representations of the Domaine, from 1870 to 1970, featuring works by Kandinsky, Hopper, and Dufy, among other artists who found inspiration here.
The Domaine national de Saint-Cloud is easily reachable by public transport from Paris: Metro Line 10 to the Boulogne-Pont de Saint-Cloud terminus, tram T2 at Parc de Saint-Cloud, or several bus routes (52, 72, 126, 175, 460, 467). Admission to concerts and activities is completely free. All performances take place at the Saint-Jean basin, in the small park.
Our take: a family-friendly, accessible affair that combines an outdoor stroll with free-flowing musical discovery. It’s the kind of outing you bookmark for a busy June afternoon, whether you’re a music buff or simply after some fresh air on the outskirts of Paris. Who is this festival for? Families, curious listeners of world music, and anyone who loves mixing culture and nature in a striking historic setting.
