Because Paris, like many other European cities, hosts numerous gigs dedicated to extreme music each year. Some venues have even made this their specialty, such as Élysée Montmartre, Backstage by The Mill, or Glaz’art. Others—well-known spots for Parisians—regularly open their doors to this genre, offering metal fans a healthy dose of razor-sharp riffs and pounding beats. Notable venues include Petit Bain, La Maroquinerie, La Boule Noire, and Le Trabendo.
And then there’s Paris Bercy, the Paris La Défense Arena, the Stade de France, and the Olympia. These iconic venues occasionally host major metal bands and artists. Just in 2024 and 2025, acts like Corey Taylor, Iron Maiden, Nine Inch Nails, Gojira, Linkin Park, and Limp Bizkit will have performed at these legendary Parisian venues.
