Denali returns to the stage of the Théâtre Marigny, in the 8th arrondissement, for 14 exceptional performances from June 5 to 20, 2024. Denali tells a true story, plunging us into a gripping, dark investigation.
We're taken to Alaska in 2019, where a 19-year-old woman has been found shot in the back of the head in a local river. The last people to see her were her two friends Denali Brehmer, 18, and Kayden McIntosh, 16. Two detectives lead the investigation, uncovering a sordid tale where teenagers are as much victims as culprits. You're in the middle of a dark investigation, and you don't know which way to turn. Denali tells the story of a youth whose only concern is appearances, at a time when smartphones are omnipresent in our society.
The play, written and directed by Nicolas le Bricquir and designed by Juliette Desproges, should surprise you with its dynamic, poignant scenography that plunges us into an almost cinematic universe. The production features powerful sound effects. Denali was awarded the Prix du Polar 2023 for best theatrical production, and the Prix du Public 2021 of the Prix T13 for Nicolas le Bricquir. The show is performed by Compagnie Panorama.
Denali runs from June 5 to June 20, 2024 at the Théâtre Marigny.
