The captivating world of fashion photography is revealed before your eyes with"En Mode", the new free exhibition of the Studio Harcourt Gallery, to be discovered until June 28, 2023. In the spotlight, the stylish prints of Françoise Huguier, elected fifth member of the photographic section at the Académie des Beaux-Arts, which take us on a journey through highly stylish lands!
Françoise Huguier, a true icon of photography, harmoniously merges fashion and culture in her spellbinding works. Inspired by the fields of documentary and film, she creates unique compositions that tell visual stories that are both aesthetically pleasing and intriguing. Gathered for the first time in this exhibition, the photographs illustrate her collaborations with famous magazines such as Marie Claire Bis, L'Express Style, Causette, or even Femme, and the iconic fashion shows she has covered, such as those of Christian Lacroix, Thierry Mugler, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Issey Miyake, who have become her friends and faithful accomplices.
Multi-awarded, exhibited and published in France and around the world, Françoise Huguier is much more than a talented photographer. She brings to light the evolution of our society, testifying through images to the profound changes that are taking place before our eyes. Her human and social commitment is reflected in each of her prints, capturing the essence of our times.
