When it comes to pharmaceuticals, Paris already has its own museum , housed in a private mansion. The Île-de-France region also has its own museum, located nearOrsay in the Essonne département: the Musée Albarelle, on the Saclay plateau.
Since 2023, the Henri Moissan building belonging to the Faculty of Pharmacy on the Plateau de Saclay (91) has been regularly opening its doors to the general public, to offer guided tours of the Musée Albarelle, Orsay's pharmacy museum. Founded by the eponymous association, the museum boasts a unique collection, with objects dating from Antiquity to the 20th century. During an original guided tour, plunge into the heart of the history of pharmacy, and the practices and materials used in health care.
