The International Women's Rights Day takes place on March 8, 2026, and during this time, an engaging schedule of events awaits visitors in Paris. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore activities designed to raise public awareness through cultural experiences. Right in the heart of the city, in the 9th arrondissement, the Artivistas Gallery presents an exhibition that promises a heartfelt and impactful perspective.
"In Her Room" brings together four women artists and/or members of the LGBTQIA+ community to explore works that delve into the intimacy of bedrooms. These spaces are depicted as sanctuaries, refuges, safe places where the desire for freedom, self-expression, and authentic existence grows quietly before we find the courage to show it to the world. The room becomes a space for introspection, where one learns to understand their identity and safeguards their secrets. This exhibition immerses visitors in the complexity of femininity.
Yaz Tascii (Istanbul), Valentina Quintero (Argentina), Daniella McNulty (Taiwan, UK), and Beka Magyarlaki (Hungary) invite us to see the world through their eyes, expressed through paintings, installations, and diverse artistic techniques. The exhibition opens on May 5th (with an opening reception at 7 p.m.) and runs until March 15, 2026. Don't miss this opportunity to explore a captivating and heartfelt artistic journey.
