This fall and winter, the Bourse de Commerce hosts the photographic masterpieces from the Pinault Collection. From October 7, 2026 to January 18, 2027, you can explore around 700 works by more than 70 artists, including Erwin Blumenfeld, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Lee Miller, Irving Penn, Cindy Sherman, and Annie Leibovitz.

In 1826, Nicéphore Niépce produced the first photograph ever captured. Two hundred years on, photography has evolved a great deal, but it still moves us, makes us laugh or smile, and stirs our emotions. On the occasion of the bicentennial of the invention of photography, the Bourse de Commerce thus puts this visual art in the spotlight with its new exhibition.

Titled "Remember Me", this collective installation will present, from October 7, 2026 to January 18, 2027, the masterworks of photography from the Pinault Collection. For the occasion, about 700 works by more than 70 artists will be unveiled to visitors, among which are the works of Erwin Blumenfeld, Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Man Ray, Lee Miller, Irving Penn, Cindy Sherman or the works of Annie Leibovitz, Raymond Depardon, Robert Cumming, Helmut Newton, Meret Oppenheim, Robert Doisneau, Nan Goldin, Zanele Muholi and Hiroshi Sugimoto.

The Pinault Collection, which brings together more than 8,000 prints, thus aims to pay homage to the photographic medium and to reflect the full range of aesthetics and techniques of this visual art. For the occasion, the Bourse de Commerce offers visitors a free-flowing, non-chronological journey, guided by the thread of memory. Across the galleries of the Bourse de Commerce, the works will respond to one another and converse across eras and genres; from archival photography to contemporary imagery.

In the Rotonde, visitors will be able to admire a monumental installation by artist Barbara Kruger, whose work “Remember Me” even gives its name to the exhibition’s title.

Finally, the Bourse de Commerce will unveil an unprecedented installation of Irving Penn comprising more than 400 photographs from the Pinault Collection, and a cult series signée Raymond Depardon.
