The Journées de l'Architecture 2025 program at the Chana Orloff studios

  • Visit the studio-museum - Saturday, October 18, 2025 to Sunday, October 19, 2025

Sculptor Chana Orloff painted a portrait of Auguste Perret in 1923. Three years later, she called on him to design her studio house. Built in the cul-de-sac of the Villa Seurat, a haven of modern architecture, this was the architect's first medium-sized studio residence. These workshops, with their strong structural elements on the façade and inside, differ from André Lurçat's houses built around the same time at Villa Seurat. Only the working and exhibition studios, where Chana Orloff's work is displayed, are open to visitors.
