This year, the Rendez-vous aux jardins event is back, from June 1 to 2, 2024, with the aim of helping you discover the most beautiful gardens and parks in Paris and the Île-de-France region. Whether little-known or often surveyed, these green spaces are well worth the detour to get some fresh air, stroll through nature and learn more about horticulture. For a few days, enjoy the sunny weather and be inspired by the beauty of flowers and plants of every color.
Let's head for the Val-d'Oise and the village ofAuvers-sur-Oise , with its many surprising and artistic spots for the occasion! Art lovers will particularly appreciate this town, marked by the Impressionist movement and home to Vincent Van Gogh, Pissarro and Cézanne. Discover the Musée de l'Absinthe, the painter's former home, or the Château d'Auvers-sur-Oise, built in 1635 and listed as a Monument Historique in 1997.
So many exceptional landscapes and peaceful gardens that inspired painters to create their masterpieces, which are now well known, and which you can walk through too!
Welcome and visit to the garden of the house-workshop of Michel Charpentier, sculptor in Auvers-sur-Oise (95430). Members of the Michel Charpentier Association will guide visitors. Discover the sculptures installed in the garden. Thematic, biographical and technical approach to the work: cement sculpture. ( http://mcharpentiersculptures.fr/ ).
This garden, over which the aura of the Blue Buddha hovers, invites you to discover several creations. Marie-F, a visual artist, likes to work with all kinds of materials. Her creations range from leather to textiles, and from the recycling of "non-noble" materials. In this way, she contributes to the creation of utilitarian and decorative objects, as well as original and spectacular jewelry.
Martine Te , a decorator and painter by training, presents her creations and organizes an "ephemeral gallery" in her garden, featuring paintings and unique objects hand-painted with original motifs.
Ana Valenzuela, designer, presents her work in folding and paper art, as well as ethnic jewelry.
The program includes an exhibition of paintings and sculptures, as well as a guided tour by painter-sculptor Xavier Boggio.
The "Special Garden" guided tour offers you the chance to discover the Maison du Dr Gachet and the new plantings in the garden at a reduced rate of €2. Length of guided tour: 45 minutes.
To take part, you must register no later than 5pm on May 31, 2024, by calling 01 30 36 81 27.
