Ready to dive into the heartof Arendelle? Disneyland Parishasfinally announcedan opening date for World of Frozen, the new area dedicated to Frozen within Disney Adventure World. The date is set for March 29, 2026, when you can experience new adventures alongsideElsa,Anna,Olaf, and all their friends! Visitors will soon be able to explore Arendelle, discover its iconic landscapes, and meet the princesses of the kingdom.
This new area promises a complete immersion in the world of Frozen, with a setting designed to recreate the atmosphere ofArendelle in every detail. While waiting for its opening, Walt Disney Imagineering Paris shared the progress of the construction site last April during a tour of the Walt Disney Studios extension, confirming the progress of the work and the next steps in the development of World of Frozen.
The project is nearing completion, as the North Mountain is finally finished and Elsa's Ice Palace was installed this summer. "We haven't quite finished installing the Ice Palace yet, but we will do so this summer," explainedMichel Den Dulk, Vice President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, last April. According to our guide during our visit in April, the Palace was built in England.
As announced, there will be a restaurant, an attraction, two shops, and a "Meet & Greet" (where you can meet various Disney characters) where children and their parents will be able to meet their favorite princesses. We now know a little more about these different areas: the Nordic Crowns Tavern restaurant will be a fast foodrestaurant offering Scandinavian-inspired cuisine, with a queue and a capacity of 250 seats. As for the "Meet & Greet, " our colleagues at OutsidEars also gave us some information, namely that the queue will be reduced. And for good reason: you will need to make a reservation to meet the princesses via the Lineberty service.
According to acollection of administrative documents published in December 2019, the store could logically cover 173 square meters and be accompanied by a 62-square-meter kiosk. The first,Arendelle Boutique, is intended to be a village toy store. In addition to classic Frozen-related products, it will offer a range of items inspired by Scandinavian crafts. Visitors will find wooden sculptures, clothing, and various items decorated with traditional motifs such as rosemaling.
A collection of clothing and accessories inspired by Nordic fashion will also allow visitors to blend elegantly into the village's universe. Before continuing their exploration, visitors can even send a postcard from the mailbox installed near the shop. The other shop,Fjord View Shop, will be waiting for you just a few steps away, as explained by Disneyland Paris in a press release unveiled on November 24, 2025. Visitors will be able to discover Rúna, an interactive baby troll presented during a dedicated ceremony, and then leave with this companion equipped with advanced technology.
Able to react to touch, blink, move her ears, light up, and interact with other trolls, Rúna will also react to Arendelle's iconic locations, the village's inhabitants, and Anna and Elsa. The store will also feature a themed makeup and hairstyling area so visitors can get ready for the Festival and explore the village in a fully immersive atmosphere.
The attraction will be a boat ride, an improved version of an existing attraction at EPCOT in the Norwegian pavilion: Frozen Ever After. Visitors are invited to board a boat and relive the adventures of Elsa and Anna in 10 iconic scenes (12 including boarding and disembarking), complete with a drop (or more), just like in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

In Arendelle Bay, visitors will be able to enjoy Celebration in Arendelle, a fifteen-minute show presented several times a day, in which Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and the villagers arrive aboard three imposing longships designed by French shipbuilder Couach and decorated by Disneyland Paris's long-standing partner artisans, including Prelud for Kristoff's ship.
Designed as a participatory event, the show will invite the audience to sing along to the hit songs from Frozen, such as "Let It Go" and "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" The show will also feature new compositions by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the Oscar-winning duo behind the iconic songs from the saga, offering an exclusive musical experience in the world of Frozen.
During a press day held on November 24, 2025, we also learned that the area will feature a daytime show and that it will be possible to meet and chat with Olaf in person, as the park announced during the press day that an animatronic Olaf will be roaming the area, similar to the BD-X droids at Discoveryland last summer. Visitors will also be able to meet Oaken and the baby troll Mossie.
We also learn that "young and old alike will be able to take part in a unique celebration:the Snow Flower Festival, bringing the entire village of Arendelle to life, specially decorated for the occasion," as explained in a press release. "Weare very proud to see the Castle, the village, and the North Mountain come to life, and we can't wait for ourvisitors to enter this universe and be part of the story," explains Michel den Dulk, Vice President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.
