Gardens Festival 2026 at Saint-Lambert Square: seed bombs and family-friendly nature workshops

The 2026 Garden Festival settles in Square Saint-Lambert in Paris’s 15th arrondissement on September 26 and 27. Seed bombs, plant impressions, repotting, and workshops on insects and hedgehogs are on offer for families during this weekend dedicated to urban nature.

The Fête des Jardins returns to Paris on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026 for two days of discovery in the city’s green spaces. Parks, squares and gardens open their doors to the public for free, with activities that bring you face-to-face with the people who tend these places and shed light on the role of nature in an urban landscape.

On the program according to the venues: gardening, repotting, creative activities, plant discovery, games, meet-and-greets and guided tours. Children can get their hands dirty in the soil, identify certain plants, or spot the small wildlife that frequents the gardens. A tangible, playful way to explore biodiversity while enjoying an outdoor outing.

The event also offers a chance to discover the different trades that shape green spaces. Gardeners and landscape professionals share their practices, their equipment, and the steps involved in creating and maintaining a garden. Each site Tailors its program to its surroundings, which also lets visitors rediscover the history and unique features of the neighborhood squares.

In the 15th arrondissement, gardeners gather at the Square Saint-Lambert. Planted in the 1930s, this expansive neighborhood park stands out for the variety of tree species that line its lawns, paths and walking spaces.
