The Grand Carnival of Lagny-sur-Marne is making its return this Saturday, March 28, 2026. Floats are getting ready to parade through the town center, and everyone—young and old—is invited to join the celebration! Dust off your best costumes because this year’s theme is "Back to the Middle Ages."

Come March, it's time to don costumes, parade through the streets, or simply enjoy watching the various carnivals across Paris and Île-de-France: Thiais, Parmain, l'Isle-Adam, Luzarches, Asnières-sur-Seine... Or, in the Seine-et-Marne department, with the 2026 edition of the Lagny-sur-Marne Carnival.

This year, the event is themed "Back to the Middle Ages". In addition to the costumed parade, numerous local associations will take part in the grand carnival to showcase various demonstrations. Of course, we highly encourage you to come dressed in your finest costumes, traditional accessories, or vibrant face paint!

Departure is at 3 p.m. from rue des Sources, arriving at the Bords de Marne parking lot, with an area reserved for priority card holders (at Square Paul Tessier). As with all carnivals, admission is entirely free and open to all: however, we strongly encourage you to come in disguise and make-up... To take part in this unique carnival atmosphere!
