GR de pays des Yvelines: the great hike across the 78

Would you like to cross the Yvelines from Épernon in the Eure-et-Loir department to Saint-Illiers-la-Ville? In any case, this is the route proposed by the Fédération Française de Randonnée (French Hiking Federation ) on the Grande randonnée de pays (GR de Pays) trail in the Yvelines département.

All in all? On an itinerary of around 70 kilometers, you'll cover the Yvelines from south to north, passing quickly through the Eure-et-Loir département. Small villages, country churches, lavoirs... Hikers will pass through Houdan, Bréval, Montchauvet and Saint-Illiers-la-Ville. The good news is that the level of this GR is very accessible to all, with little change in altitude.
