L'Avant-Gare, a convivial living space in the former Massy-Palaiseau RER station (91)

The Quartier de la Gare is a citizen's project, conceived and imagined in the same place where people once climbed onto the RER B from Massy Palaiseau station. While the station undergoes extensive renovations to accommodate this temporary initiative, l'Avant-Gare offers a glimpse, a trailer, of the future third-living space, Quartier de la Gare, scheduled to open in 2026.

While waiting for this grand opening, there was no question of leaving the place empty: so the project's team of volunteers launched the Avant-Gare, a convivial initiative open and accessible to all. On the program? Creative workshops for the whole family, workshops for new parents, salsa classes, yoga...

Scheduled to open in 2026, the Quartier de la Gare is a third-party space designed around various areas: the workshop area, the Fab Lab, the shared kitchen, a bar, a restaurant, a children's area (la Gare aux enfants)... A future address to keep an eye on if you live in the area!
