With the return of sunnier days, comes the start of the spring cultural events season. To kick things off in style, the Printemps des Poètes festival sets the stage from March. For its 2026 edition, many free events await visitors right in the heart of Paris. And over in the 6th arrondissement, inside a cozy hidden museum-workshop, a collective workshop is planned for Saturday, March 21, 2026.
To discover it, head over to the charming place de Furstenberg, home to the Eugène Delacroix Museum. Dedicated to the legendary painter, this cultural space is nestled within his very studio. As a leading figure of 19th-century Romanticism, Eugène Delacroix created masterpieces, including the iconic painting that became a symbol of revolutionary spirit: Liberty Leading the People. Inspired by the July Revolution, it portrays the allegorical figure Marianne, representing the Republic, wearing a Phrygian cap.

In fact, this year’s Printemps des Poètes at the Eugène Delacroix Museum will feature a collective poetry workshop on the theme of Liberty. Organized by Niko Melissano, the activity welcomes all skill levels, and children aged 8 and up are encouraged to join. The free workshop requires reservation, and at the end, participants will leave with a poem typed on a vintage typewriter by Josiane Asmane.
