This summer, amusement parks and water playgrounds are more popular than ever. They're the ideal way to refresh and entertain children under 12 and the big kids that we are. Whether you're looking for free, accessible or amusement park activities, we've got some great ideas for you to enjoy underwater.

With this summer's heat, in addition to swimming areas, water parks and swimming pools, water playgrounds and paddling pools are the perfect way to keep even the smallest children amused and refreshed.

In Paris and the Ile-de-France region, discover the best places to run underwater and take it easy. From amusement parks to free municipal parks and leisure centers, discover the best spots to be sprayed with water jets and other fun misters.

So, don't forget to bring sun cream and swimsuits for the kids and the grown-ups too (for some spots, it's compulsory), check the weather forecast, because of course they close in the event of thunderstorms or rain, and head off to get splashed and wet.
