Cali Uptown's comforting brunch with a Californian twist

Californian ambience at Cali Uptown, with a hearty and comforting brunch, served in a friendly atmosphere by a frankly adorable team. This is what awaits you at the Cali Sisters' second restaurant, in the 10th arrondissement, on Saturdays and Sundays. And did you know? Cali Uptown is now open non-stop, from 10am to 6pm, for a late breakfast or a day of teleworking!

Head for Venice Beach, with its sandy beaches and palm trees, every weekend of the year. On the menu: fresh, local, seasonal produce; American-influenced recipes, of course, but also Italian, Mexican and Mediterranean; and classic brunch dishes revisited with a Cali Sisters twist.

Reservations are essential, given the success of Cali Uptown's brunch. And it's worth noting that brunch is reasonably priced: €35 for a brunch consisting of a savory dish, a sweet dish, a cold drink and a hot beverage; €40 for the same brunch, plus unlimited mimosa cocktails - with a Sex and the City vibe.

Little ones are even entitled to their own brunch formula at €20, a great way to spend a gourmet weekend with the family! Unlike many brunches in the capital, which offer an affordable brunch (at least at first glance), Cali Uptown's brunch doesn't play any tricks on gourmets, i.e. adding +5€ if you choose a savory dish, +3€ if you choose a sweet dish; and it's nice not to feel cheated!

The 5 savory dishes include theavocado toast, with its toasted bread topped with ripe avocado, seed salsa, pickles and feta cheese; and theegg sandwich, a North American breakfaststaple, with its brioche bun, organic fried egg, bacon slices, cheddar sauce and spicy mayo to give the little kick needed to wake up successfully.

On the sweet side, we can't recommend enough the Cali cheesecake with lemon zest, absolutely indecent in its creaminess and indulgence (look at the size of the beast!), the very fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, figs and dukkah, or the waffles twisted by the presence of just-crisp pumpkin seeds, accompanied by whipped chai mascarpone, figs and caramelized pecans.

When it comes to drinks, once again, the most fun drinks are included in the formula, whether hot - chai latte, excellent golden latte with turmeric and ginger, hot chocolate - and cold drinks - squeezed orange juice and even more original fresh fruit juices, such as Yumi Pink (apple, strawberry, orange, raspberry, coconut milk, orange blossom water) or Yumi Green (apple, cucumber, spinach, kale, lemon, vitamin C).

A Californian brunch full of good surprises and good vibes, to be enjoyed on Saturday and Sunday. So, are we in for a treat this weekend?
