We’ve mentioned it before: the Jardins du Faubourg, the five-star hotel located in the 8th arrondissement, has recently opened a new Italian restaurant called Il Giardino. Helmed by Chef Davide Pecorella, whose résumé includes prestigious establishments like the Georges at the Georges V hotel, it’s quickly becoming a new hotspot for Italian cuisine in the city.
For its Sunday brunch, running from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the venue now invites guests to enjoy a taste of Italy. Whether under the beautiful, sunlit glass roof or on the heated terrace wrapped in cozy blankets, diners can indulge in an array of delicious dishes and sweet treats.
Food lovers and enthusiasts alike will find themselves well catered for, thanks to the generous offerings. The menu features a tempting spread of both savory and sweet dishes served as a buffet. This is complemented by freshly squeezed homemade juices and a selection of hot beverages. Priced at €79 for adults and €45 for children, the brunch offers a delightful variety of pastries, pancakes, crepes, and waffles.
For savory options, the restaurant offers a charming selection of composed salads that evoke Italy, including veal carpaccio with vitello tonnato sauce and a variety of Italian cheeses.
Warm dishes featuring fish and meats in small portions also appear every Sunday, adding to the lineup of around fifteen dishes available. When we visited, the menu featured pumpkin risotto and a fish dish with cabbage.
The menu features eggs prepared to your liking—scrambled, fried, poached, omelette, or soft-boiled—served with a variety of accompaniments such as sausages, bacon, cheese, mushrooms, onions, and more, tailored to your preferences.
For those with a sweet tooth, options include a selection of fresh fruits, Tropezian-style tarts, and other tempting treats crafted by the Chef. There are also skewers to be enjoyed dipped in melted chocolate for an extra indulgence.
