After the Patou x Ladurée tea time, it's Chaumet 's turn to make your taste buds rustle. Until August 31, 2025, Chaumet is teaming up with The Peninsula Paris palace for a sweet experience straight out of an imperial beehive. Pastry chef Anne Coruble creates a precious tea-time inspired by emblematic creations from the jeweler's legendary Bee collection.
On the rooftops of the Peninsula, a real-life beehive is gently buzzing. So it's hardly surprising that the bee, Chaumet's imperial emblem and eternal muse, should flutter its wings at the heart of this gourmet interlude.
In the heart of the 16th arrondissement hotel, the tea-time ritual is adorned with the iconic codes of the jewelry house - elegance, precision, the poetry of nature - in a setting that infuses the Bee spirit down to the smallest detail, such as the beekeeping motifs and floral touches that illuminate the palace's prestigious lobby. A delicate encounter between haute pâtisserie and haute joaillerie, where each creation pays homage to the art of the gesture and the excellence of savoir-faire.
On the menu, the tiered server becomes a golden alveolus, where sweets come in a thousand shades of honey.Écume yaourt, with a creamy milk jam and fresh pollen. Fleur de propolis, infused with avocado honey and beeswax.Alvéole nacrée, presented as a tangy honey cookie. The Brioche muscovado, generously filled with raw cream and spiced up with buckwheat honey and roasted notes. And last but not least, the lemon tart, with an arbutus honey frosting.
On the savoury side, the bite-sized dishes are also a jewel: crispy poultry with foie gras and yellow wine gel, white asparagus tartlet with citrus fruit, and Provençal-style barbajuan with peppery cream.
When jewelry meets patisserie, the result is an imperiously sweet tea-time, subtly piqued... à la Chaumet.
Le Tea Time Chaumet x The Peninsula Paris, to melt without reserve to the last drop of honey.
