Cat lovers beware, here's a coworking spot in Paris where you can telework (and more), surrounded by cats and purrs, with unlimited drinks and snacks from 6€ an hour. It's all happening at Koneko Work, a solidarity concept in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.

At telecommuting, you'll also have the opportunity to choose the perfect atmosphere in which to do your job, study and get on with your projects. Yes, the art of living also applies to work, and in Paris there are coworking addresses to suit all tastes: sunny spots, trendy addresses, elegant concepts, student hotspots - there's a HQ for everyone! There's even one that's sure to melt the hearts of cat lovers: Koneko Work.

In the 12th arrondissement of Paris, this unusual café-coworking space invites you to come and work among cats. The idea here is to offer a mutually supportive concept, which seems to link animal welfare with well-being in the workplace. Konekowork 's adorable residents are stray cats who have been taken in by theEmâ association and are now looking for a new family. Here, you're at the heart of their living environment: toys and facilities are provided for them to roam freely. Be careful, though, to respect their rhythm: it's up to them to come to you, not the other way round.

As for the humans, they have offices bathed in daylight, with Japanese-inspired decor, and can sit here for as little as €6 an hour, enjoying unlimited drinks and snacks. Surprisingly, here you can play self-service barista with gourmet drink recipes based on available ingredients. Golden Latte, Matcha, Cappuccino, you name it.

The rates charged here are the same as in most cafe-coworking places, and this is precisely one of Konekowork's commitments: the presence of felines should not be a pricing argument, but a vocation of solidarity. The cats move around us, interacting with us, and the working atmosphere is calm, relaxed and sometimes punctuated by little "meows". And if, in between chores, you start to build up a good relationship with one of our regulars, then this could be the opportunity for you to adopt it, marking the start of a new life for both of you.

The space is designed for both human and cat comfort. Printers, screens, sockets, soundproof booths and even a private meeting area can be adapted to suit different needs. What's more, you don't just come here to work: any quiet activity is welcome, and a reading corner has even been designed for those looking for a spot to read in a cocooning atmosphere.

Don't expect there to be many cats: numbers vary from period to period, and if there aren't many, that's good news: it means that adoptions are going well. There are no more than nine cats on the premises at any one time.
