It's a fact that packaging is now an integral part of our daily lives. Every product we buy is surrounded by plastics, which end up contaminating the food we eat and harming our beautiful planet.
Faced with this sad fact, Iris and Xavier decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign to give birth to Kilogramme: the only grocery store in Paris to offer bulk sales, training and a catering area.
To be discovered from September 15, 2018 in the 19th arrondissement of the capital, Kilogramme will therefore offer bulk sales and short circuits in order to keep packaging and therefore waste to a minimum. Here, customers come with their fabric bags and jars. For the rest of you, you'll find everything you need in the grocery store.
But that's not all, as the venue will also be offering on-the-go snacks with simple, organic, seasonal, original and well-balanced recipes.
Finally, Kilogramme will be initiating those interested in Do It Yourself workshops to learn how to make our own products (toothpaste, cosmetics...) and meals on a daily basis.
