Hôtel Rochechouart, an almost century-old establishment, has reinvented itself by adding a modern space to its roof terrace following its renovation in 2020. As soon as you step out of the elevator, you find yourself facing the dome of the Sacré-Coeur, with the Eiffel Tower and the ocean of zinc roofs of Paris as a backdrop. A 360° view that Maurice Chevalier, a regular guest of the hotel, would have described as "drôlement bath".

On the drinks side, cocktails of the highest quality are on offer, such as the "Maggie" (gin, hibiscus, bergamot liqueur, aquafaba), in which the chilli respects the fruit, or the astonishing "Truffle Drop", a Martini with truffle oil softened by bergamot. Mediterranean influences are reflected in the dishes on offer, such as grilled prawns with chimichurri or chipirons stuffed with feta and olive.

The Maggie Rooftop is a lovely discovery to make in Paris. It's a hidden address that's well worth the detour, combining mixology and exceptional panoramic views, for a great time.
