Looking for serenity, calm and greenery in the heart of Paris? Discover the restaurant and hidden garden terraces of the Hôtel Particulier Montmartre, a bucolic and confidential setting in the heart of the 18th arrondissement. A former Hermès residence, this secret spot, accessible via the Rocher de la Sorcière passage, invites you to discover its lush garden, refined bistronomic cuisine and cocktail bar all summer long. Open every day, from breakfast to dinner, including brunch and cocktails.

A true haven of peace hidden in the heart of the 18th arrondissement, Hôtel Particulier Montmartre is a hidden treasure for those in search of peace and quiet. This hotel, restaurant , terrace and cocktail bar nestles in an alleyway behind Avenue Junot. You have to follow the passage du Rocher de la Sorcière, skirt a few discreet gates and push open an almost innocuous door to enter what could be Montmartre's most secret address.

This former Hermès family mansion, now transformed into a hybrid venue, boasts just five suites - a small number that's enough to guarantee the privacy of guests including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz and Johnny Depp, who took refuge here for an entire week, privatizing the premises. An anecdote that reveals the almost unreal character of this place.

But one of the house's greatest charms is undoubtedly its confidential terrace, nestled in the heart of the largest private hotel garden in Paris. A bubble of greenery, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where time seems suspended. As soon as the sun comes out, the tables spread out on the lawns, under the trees and around the groves, offering a bucolic setting with the allure of a romantic park.

People come here for lunch in the sun, cocktails at dusk, or dinner under the stars, always enveloped by the scents of the garden and the song of the birds. Even when you're not staying here, you can enjoy this discreet luxury, especially at Sunday lunches, which have become a precious interlude for insiders. As you might imagine, it's also the perfect spot for lovers.

Sheltered from the hustle and bustle of Paris, the terrace of the Hôtel Particulier Montmartre offers a limited menu, where seasonal products are honored with restraint and precision. The tone is set right from the starters, with a perfect egg, served in a watercress velouté delicately spiced with granny apple and a touch of tapenade, or a fresh, structured fennel salad , buoyed by a lemony seasoning. Special mention goes to the seasonal white asparagus , cooked just right.

On the main course, spelt risotto with asparagus seduces with its texture and balance. Octopus a la plancha is cooked just right, and harmonizes well with chickpeas and a sweet-and-sour red onion sauce, spiced up with a discreet but effective zephyr of garlic confit. Note that the meats, well sourced, are accompanied with care - like this Limousin veal chop, highlighted by oyster mushrooms from Île-de-France in parsley. Dishes to share - shoulder of lamb confit, whole sea bream, or Rossini-style prime rib - offer a more generous approach, always with respect for the product.

The desserts, meanwhile, round off the meal with a touch of classic sweetness and plenty of indulgence: rhubarb and baked apple, hazelnut praline mille-feuille, or the emblematic floating island with pink pralines, to share, await you.

With its Parisian novel allure, Hôtel Particulier Montmartre remains a well-kept secret, a precious parenthesis to be experienced as an escapade, for lunch, dinner or a drink at the end of the day. An address that we share with regret, like a secret too good to be betrayed.
