With its unclassifiable vegetarian and pescetarian cuisine, the Persil restaurant had become a favorite, thanks to the imagination of chef Kumpi, aided by her husbandRichard. While the chef likes to think of some of her recipes, such as gyozas and mikate, as her signature dishes, in reality the same creativity awaits us on the entire menu. Some of the dish titles may sound familiar, but don't be fooled, because Kumpi's recipes are a free reinterpretation, very free, of the specialties you know. It's only the meat-eaters who might be confused, since the dishes here are based exclusively on vegetarian or fish products.

And so, from the not-so-touristy 11th arrondissement of Paris, the Persil restaurant has attracted both local and international clientele: this has prompted the concept to migrate to a more nomadic and immersive version, the Domaine Persil, a traveling table d'hôte due to set up next spring in the south, towards Montpellier. So the Paris adventure is coming to an end... but there's no question of leaving without saying goodbye.

On Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13, 2025, restaurant Persil will be holding its closing party, in a festive, gourmet atmosphere. On the program: a DJ set from the aperitif onwards, tapas and fine wine throughout the evening... It's a chance to treat yourself one last time, before looking forward to the next Domaine Persil stopover in the Paris region!
