Gastronomy buffs gather from September 18 to 20, 2026 at the Carreau du Temple for Food Temple, the festival that brings together all fans of fine cooking. Yes, after nine successful editions that have taken us to Colombia, Portugal, Brazil, and even California, the Carreau du Temple is back for another round this autumn!
All weekend long, chefs leave the kitchens of their own restaurants to simmer up tasty dishes, but also to lead cooking classes and take part in masterclasses. For this 10th edition, the festival shines a spotlight on Morocco, promising a cultural and gustatory journey that could inspire a new wave of food lovers. With Fatéma Hal and Abdel Alaoui as honorary patrons.
The program highlights a cuisine shaped by the influences Berber, Arabo-Andalusian and Jewish influences. Couscous, tagines, pastillas, and mechoui or, as desserts, pastries such as gazelle horns, briouats and ghribas will illustrate the diversity of a culinary heritage handed down from generation to generation.
Throughout the weekend, visitors will have the chance to discover 6 ephemeral restaurants and a tea salon, bringing together chefs and artisans tied to Moroccan culture in Paris. Traditional recipes will sit alongside more contemporary interpretations. A Souk-inspired market will round out the experience with spices, olive and argan oils, floral waters, tableware, and artisan creations from Marrakech and Essaouira.
The festival will kick off on Friday, September 18, 2026 with a opening night imagined by Abdel Alaoui and La Mouette et les Dromadaires. Food and music will meet around a carte blanche celebrating a contemporary Morocco. On the musical programming side, Retro Cassetta, Samifati & Transe Gwana Express, and Francis Latombe will make the Hall resonate with sets blending electro, oriental textures, and club influences.
An event brimming with discoveries you won’t want to miss!
