From Wednesday to Saturday, Altrimenti offers a variety of culinary workshops. These are real moments of sharing, family fun and, above all, responsibility! You'll learn not only how to cook Italian cuisine, but also how to cook in an environmentally-friendly way, using fresh produce that is usually neglected.
Altrimenti is an association that has been fighting food waste since 2016, notably by offering interactive culinary workshops open to all ages. Literally meaning"differently" in Italian, Altrimenti was founded by Samanta Vergati, of Neapolitan origin. Her aim? To introduce people to ecological and responsible cooking practices, while putting Italy in the spotlight. The association's team is made up of chefs, nutritionists and dieticians. So you're in good hands!
Between Wednesday and Saturday, Altrimenti offers no less than six culinary workshops to learn and enjoy. From a children's workshop to a botanical walk complemented by a wilderness cooking session, the program is as varied as it isappetizing. Each week, the team shares tips and advice on how to reduce culinary waste and cook neglected fruits and vegetables. All of this is accompanied by real hands-on cooking sessions! It's a real opportunity to share and learn, for young and old alike.
So let's head to Altrimenti, for an introduction to authentic, sustainable Italian cuisine!
